About
Beth Mehall is an artist and writer based near Aspen, Colorado. Her words and illustrations often reflect the Rocky Mountain landscape and the critters who live there. Her art has appeared on tags and in buyer’s catalogs for Obermeyer skiwear as well as in trade magazines, newspapers, advertisements and corporate literature. She has recently turned her focus toward writing and illustrating for children.
Beth has a BA in English and Art from Colgate University. She is a former children’s art instructor and was recognized by the Colorado Association for Gifted and Talented for her work bringing hands-on learning opportunities to elementary school children. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
When not creating, Beth enjoys hiking on the many trails out her back door, skiing with the sun on her back and skating under the stars on a homemade ice rink.
